Kingswood Secondary Academy

Halloween Disco

On Tuesday night, there was an eerie atmosphere in the school atrium which was filled with Year 7 and 8 students dressed as witches, zombies and other very original and creative characters at our belated Halloween Disco.

The students danced the night away to the NRG Roadshow led by our very talented Year 13 duo - Rob Clarke & Tom Walton. The boys were assisted in entertaining the students by Stevey Peden and Rylea O'Neill in Year 12 who kindly volunteered to help out on the night. Refreshments were prepared and served by Ben Wickham and John Ogilvie.

This event was one of many which have been planned and staged by the Year 13 Business students as part of their A level course. Congratulations to Rob, Tom, Ben and John for doing such a fantastic job of organising and staging the event but in particular for making such a good job of entertaining the students on the night and making sure they all had fun!

Thanks must also go to Mrs Palmiero, Miss Stevenson, Mandy, Mrs March, Miss Pinney, Miss Hills, Miss Brosch, Miss Taylor, Stevey Peden and Rylea O'Neill who gave up their time to help out. Without their support this event could not have taken place.

Below are photos of the winners of the best costume and dancing competitions.
